29th August 2017

On Thursday 24th August Kennels team member Max Glover-West crossed the finishing line, after successfully marching from Buckingham Palace, London to The Kennels, Goodwood in aid of Help for Heroes.

The mammoth challenge began a day earlier and Max not only managed to complete it 45 minutes earlier than expected and well-under his 20 hour time limit, but he did so whilst carrying a backpack weighing 18kg!

"I chose to do this particular challenge because of how demanding it would be both physically and mentally. The idea came from my hopeful future career of being an Officer in the British Army. I am currently at the final stage of the selection process which is on the 19th of September. The choice to support Help for Heroes ties in with this career move. I also wanted to inspire others to push themselves and do something amazing for charity"
