The Festival of Speed is built within a country park and although we endeavour to maintain good conditions underfoot, please be aware that there may be uneven ground (particularly on the Forest Rally Stage). The ground surface around the site and car parks is grassland and there are no permanent roadways. We lay over 7km of temporary roads to ease movement around the park where possible.
A golf buggy shuttle service operates inside the event to assist disabled guests in getting around the site. Please be aware that this is a single-journey service which works on a priority basis and as such may be subject to delays. The golf buggy service operates from the information points on site and can’t be pre-booked. Transport to the Forest Rally Stage operates from Gate 1 by Shopmobility – golf buggies are not suitable for this service.
There are two dedicated raised viewing platforms. One is located next to the Kinrara Enclosure opposite Goodwood House; the other is situated alongside the Startline Grandstand (which is covered). Both of these viewing platforms have battery re-charging facilities for motorised wheelchairs. There is also wheelchair access and space undercover within the Pheasantry Grandstand, and tickets for this grandstand can be purchased from the Ticket Office on 01243 755055, subject to availability.
Please note that access onto the disabled viewing platforms require a disabled swing badge. To obtain, please call the ticket office on 01243 755055.
Disabled toilets are located at each of the main toilet block areas shown on the event map.
There are Treatment Centres and a pharmacy on site. Please see the event map for details of the locations. There are several doctors on call throughout the event site; they can be contacted at the Treatment Centres, or via any Goodwood staff member.
There are facilities located within the Treatment Centres suitable for adult changing.
The campsites are equipped with disabled facilities. Please call the Ticket Office to book prior to the event.
