Meet Anna, our Golf receptionist

1) Best golfing experience:

I was privileged enough to attend the Turkish Airlines Open in 2019. Whilst there, I was able to follow the final group. The tournament ended up going to a six man playoff, between some top golfers, the likes of Matthias Schwab, Erik Van Rooyen, and Tyrell Hatton. Before the playoff, I was lucky enough to get the signature of the eventual winner, Tyrell Hatton. I know that it was him meeting me that inspired him to go on and win!

2) What are you hoping to bring to the club:

I am hoping to bring my usual high spirits and cheerful nature. Being on reception, I hope that everyone I meet and interact with leaves the shop with a smile or a good feeling. I also hope that I can inspire more young female golfers to join Golf At Goodwood.

3) My dream fourball:

If I have to choose my dream fourball, it would be Matthias Schwab, Tiger's son - Charlie, and lastly my favourite actor Jamie Dornan.

4) What is your background/previous work experience:

Work wise, I was an events manager in Ukraine, which is what I would like to pursue as a career. Other than that, I am part of the Ukrainian National Golf Team, so most of my background includes playing golf in many different countries. It has been awesome to see so many different parts of the world and meet so many people through golf.

5) What do you like about Goodwood:

My favourite part of working for Golf At Goodwood is having met so many great people. So many of the members have been so kind to me during my short time here. I also really enjoy being able to play such beautiful golf courses. The facilities at Goodwood are amazing, and I am so privileged as an aspiring golfer, to be able to practice and play here. The team I work with are amazing, and I feel at home here.
