Walk and run

The 11,000-acre Goodwood Estate has plenty to explore, from vast wildflower meadows, the Trundle Iron Age hillfort to Goodwood's Home Farm. Visit our walking routes page to plan your walk. Or, if you'd rather let your four-legged friend run free, Tapster's Paddock is the perfect place. Our peaceful and private three-acre dog walking paddock is just steps from The Goodwood Hotel and is designed for safety and serenity.

After all that exploring, you'll have worked up an appetite, so tuck into a delicious meal at one of our dog-friendly cafés or restaurants. The Goodwood Art Foundation

With 70 acres of breathtaking woodland and wildflower meadows, alongside bold works by world-renowned artists, a visit to the Goodwood Art Foundation offers plenty to explore with the whole family. Plus, the restaurant, galleries and gardens all welcome dogs.

The Foundation's newest installation, FREE FORM, is part sculpture, part architecture and part playground inviting visitors of all ages to explore, play and experience art in a new way. Wander through colourful geometric forms, uncover unexpected viewpoints and enjoy panoramic views across the Sussex landscape.
