Downward Dog for Human and Hound
Dogamahny, was founded by Mahny in 2012 to help bring Doga, ‘the sacred union between dog and owner,’ to people experiencing stress and anxiety. During Mahny’s classes, human and canine participants are invited to try their hand (or paw) at yoga together, with methods carefully devised to work with the central nervous systems of owner and dog alike. Mahny has helped countless duos find balance in their lives and has also lent her expertise to dog rescue charities and psychologists.
Since appearing on Made in Chelsea in 2013, Mahny and her gorgeous Maltese Robbie have gone on to appear on numerous television shows including Britain’s Got Talent, This Morning, The Lorraine Show, Sunday Brunch and Blue Peter. Off the mat, Mahny is also the author of ‘DOGA - Yoga for You and Your Dog’, which teaches how her methods can be replicated at home.
We are thrilled that Mahny and Robbie will be joining us at Goodwoof, in our Wellness Centre presented by Mars Petcare. They will be demonstrating doga techniques which can be enjoyed from the sidelines or, if you fancy it, you’ll be able to grab a mat and have a go.
