2019
The centrepiece of the ever-expanding Future Lab 2019 was an impressive digital art installation by Stanza, called The Emergent City and all around it, a new wave of phenomena included an AR robot gaming arena, a breath-taking VR cinematic trip to the International Space Station and much more.
2018
The second year of Future Lab at FOS saw a wide and wild range of world firsts and out-of-this-world exclusives. As well as a terraform table, a robotic quadruped and a 3D selfie booth to interact with, and the global positioning innovation of what3words, the pavilion was packed with spectacular and eye-opening wonders.
2017
The birth of Future Lab in 2017 - the space-age black-cube pavilion among FOS’s regular automotive stands - made quite a first impression. A VR space walk experience, two different flying cars, the launch of Elon Musk’s Hyperloop One, 3D VR art by Google and extraordinary NASA photography were just some of the award-winning and world-first exhibits being showcased.
I have only been here twenty minutes and I want to spend three hours here because it is so fascinating’. As a member of the automotive industry there is so much here that is relevant and has a cross over. It makes you think.
