What is the difference between Membership and Fellowship?
The Duke of Richmond set up the GRRC Membership over twenty years ago for those who want to be at the heart of Goodwood’s world leading motorsport events. Since then, demand to be part of the GRRC has become so strong that the waiting list to become a member was much bigger than the Club itself, and the waiting time was around 7 years - and growing all the time.
The Fellowship was created to combat the length of time future members had to wait to become a part of the Club, to provide an affordable way for younger people to enjoy what the Club has to offer, and to offer those who aren’t able to travel to Goodwood regularly a way of enjoying our event coverage and community feel.
Yes, all members and those part of the Fellowship, receive a discount on selected Goodwood and GRRC merchandise, this can be redeemed when logged in to your account.
Where do I access all the new live event coverage and on-demand videos?
Goodwood Road and Racing will be your new home. Once you are logged in you will have access to all your exclusive videos and live streams.
How many devices am I able to watch exclusive videos and live streaming on at any one time?
On top of the public live stream, you will be able to watch GRRC exclusive live streams simultaneously on two devices using the same login details. If you attempt to login using a third device, your first session will be timed out.
How can I make the most of my membership?
There are a whole host of benefits you may take advantage of but our top tips are:
Attend the GRRC-only Members’ Meeting
Buy your event tickets ahead of the public
Enjoy the member enclosures across Festival of Speed and Revival
Remember to order your paddock passes ahead of Revival
Visit The Kennels when you get the chance
Be sure to join a regional social or drive when the Club is local to you
Keep an eye out for the monthly competitions (always announced in the monthly Club emails). There really are some fantastic prizes to be won
Enjoy the fantastic event archive on your Goodwood Road and Racing homepage
Take time to view the new Goodwood Originals online.
I am a current member but no longer make use of my benefits. Can I relinquish my membership and join the Fellowship instead?
Of course, but not straight away. When your membership comes up for renewal, you simply need to let the Club know you would like to relinquish your membership and purchase Fellowship instead. Please note that if at any time you would like to become a full member again, you will first need to activate your member-in-waiting status and then wait for a place to become available.
Is there a referral scheme for new members?
No. The Club does not run a referral scheme where existing members can put forward recommendations for new members. Entry into the club is by waiting list only.
When does the membership year run from?
The membership runs from 1 January to 31 December each year.
When do I have to pay my membership subscription?
Membership renewals open in late October in order to allow members to take advantage of their priority booking window for the following year’s headline events and we ask that the membership fees are paid by no later than 31 December.
How do I pay for my membership subscription?
You can pay your membership fees in a number of ways. By far the simplest is by direct debit (see below) or online at https://www.goodwood.com/motorsport/grrc-membership/grrc-renewals/. You are eligible to upgrade to family membership on the first anniversary of your GRRC membership with the club. Please call the office once you receive your renewal paperwork in October each year to request this. If this is the case we will add you to a waiting list for the following year.

What is the GRRC Fellowship?
Launched in 2017, the Fellowship was established as a way to be part of the Goodwood Road Racing Club, whether you wish to become a full member when a space becomes available, or simply want to be part of the Club through the Fellowship and enjoy the carefully selected number of GRRC benefits. Being a member of the GRRC is very sought-after and, in order to maintain the exclusivity of the full Club, we do not want to increase the total number of memberships, so the Fellowship ensures the Club is accessible for more people to enjoy
Why was the Fellowship introduced?
The Duke of Richmond set up the GRRC over twenty years ago for those who want to be at the heart of Goodwood’s world leading motorsport events. Since then, demand to be part of the GRRC has become so strong that the waiting list to become a member is now much bigger than the Club itself, and the waiting time is currently around 5 years. Additionally, we have recognised that membership is not always affordable for younger people, and can be difficult to get the most value from if you’re not able to travel to Goodwood and enjoy the events regularly.
What are the benefits of the GRRC Fellowship?
Annual pack including a yearly GRRC Fellowship pin badge and windscreen sticker.
Guaranteed access to the GRRC-only Members’ Meeting.
Ability to buy your tickets to the sell-out Festival of Speed and Revival one week ahead of the public.
Access to exclusive GRRC Originals – in depth short films, Goodwood motorsport archives and coverage from all three headline events including new live streams and special edits solely for you.
Discounts on selected Goodwood merchandise.
Exclusive monthly money-can’t-buy competitions.
Should you wish to join the full Club, Fellowship allows you to become a ‘Member-in-Waiting’ for full GRRC Membership when a space becomes available by opting-in free of charge.
How can I purchase a Fellowship and how much does it cost?
Simply log in to your ‘My Goodwood’ account, or create one hereand visit the GRRC area to purchase your Fellowship. It is priced at £39 per year on a rolling 12-month basis; you are able to pay by debit or credit card or with a Goodwood gift card. Your Fellowship is an ongoing GRRC subscription and by purchasing it you authorise the GRRC to debit the annual Fellowship price from your account every 12 months, until you cancel your subscription.
Can anyone join the Fellowship?
Absolutely. No matter where you live in the world or what age you are, we would love to welcome you to the GRRC Fellowship.
Can I set up a direct debit?
There’s no need. Your Fellowship is an ongoing GRRC subscription, and by purchasing it you authorise the GRRC to debit the annual Fellowship price from your account every 12 months, until you cancel your subscription.
Can I cancel my Fellowship anytime?
You have 48 hours from the time of purchase to cancel your Fellowship and receive a full refund assuming you haven’t used any of your digital benefits.
When can I start using my benefits?
Straight away! All online videos, live streaming and discounts will be available to you once you’ve purchased your Fellowship. Your Fellowship pack, including your pin badge and windscreen sticker, will be despatched within a couple of weeks.
Is being part of the Fellowship the same as a member?
No, The Fellowship has been introduced to provide benefits for those waiting to become a member, as well as offering relevant benefits to the wider motorsport community that may not be able to travel to Goodwood and enjoy the membership benefits regularly. As such, those part of the Fellowship will enjoy a selected range of benefits, but there are some (such as paddock access at Goodwood Revival) that are solely for members.
I want to become a full-member, how do I do this?
You must become part of the Fellowship first. Once you’ve purchased your Fellowship you will be sent an email reminder to activate your free-of-charge ‘Member-in-Waiting’ status. As always, spaces in the GRRC membership are limited and we cannot say how long you will have to wait, but we hope you will appreciate these new benefits in the meantime.
What happens when I’m invited to become a member?
When a space becomes available and you’re invited to the Membership, the money you have paid for your time as part of the Fellowship will be deducted from the Joining Fee accordingly. If you wish, you can decide to decline the invitation for membership and remain in the Fellowship, but you will lose your place within the ‘Member-in-Waiting’ line.
I live abroad and don't come to Goodwood much. Is there any point in joining the Fellowship?
Yes! There are fantastic benefits of Fellowship, a lot of which you don’t have to come to Goodwood for. Exclusively watch the GRRC-only Members' Meeting and exclusive livestreams from Festival of Speed and Revival. Along with the GRRC Original films and 25 years of Goodwood motorsport archives. As well as the Fellowship pin badge and windscreen sticker and all the fantastic discounts and competitions mean you will get your moneys’ worth.
Can I come to Goodwood events?
Yes. Being a part of the Goodwood Road Racing Club is the only way to buy tickets to the GRRC-only Members’ Meeting.
Those in the Fellowship will also be able to buy tickets for the Festival of Speed and Revival one week ahead of them going on public sale. The Fellowship can also access the GRRC Enclosure at Thursday of Festival of Speed.
However, the benefits that GRRC members enjoy at these events (such as forward parking and access to the paddocks at the Revival) will still be preserved for members.
Can I use The Kennels?
Not all year round however within your Annual Pack you will receive two passes for you and a guest to use at a time of your choosing.
I have a problem with my Fellowship. Who do I contact?
Please complete the ‘contact us’ form on the Fellowship homepage or by clicking here and we will respond to you as quickly as possible. Alternatively you may contact email@example.com and someone from the Club will respond to you.
