Your new benefits explained
Ticket privileges
For the first time, the Fellowship will receive 10% discount on two tickets to both the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival, as well as the early bird ticket prices to Members' Meeting.
New 'Pit Stop' areas
At both the 2023 Festival of Speed and Revival, we're delighted to announce that for the first time ever, the Fellowship will have access to an exclusive enclosure.
A space offering both covered seating and outdoor tables, these brand new enclosures will give you new places to make use of private toilets, and to relax and recharge with a drink or snack from our outdoor concession stands whilst catching up with other members and guests.
More Club events
We're delighted to announce an expanded calendar of Club events for the Fellowship, including factory tours, regional drives, track days and much more.
Still open to the Fellowship are the other fantastic GRRC events, such as 'An Evening With' and the Summer Ball at the Festival of Speed, go karting, the wonderfully festive Christmas Ball at Goodwood House and the exclusive, GRRC-only Breakfast Club.
Pre-event testing
Each year, there are three or four test days ahead of the Members' Meeting and Revival at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Formerly available to the public, next year these days will only be open to the GRRC, giving you the exclusive chance to see some of the stars of the upcoming events putting cars through their paces for the first time.
The usual catering outlets will be open, as well as the NAAFI wagon, located between Paddocks one and two. We'll let you know more details of how to access these days in the new year.
Early access
Enter the Revival site a full hour before the public each day, to grab breakfast, admire the cars and bag the best spot from which to watch the action. You and your guests will be admitted to the main site from 7.30am whilst the public will be asked to wait Over The Road until 8.30am.
Not only will you be in the perfect place to watch the Spitfires on their dawn patrol, you'll also be able to see the drama at Gate 2 whilst it's quiet. A much more relaxed start to a day of action!
Your new benefits: some frequently asked questions
We’ve kept everything that we know you value, but have added plenty of new benefits – including new event enclosures, an extended calendar of exclusive GRRC events, new ticket discounts and more. You will soon be able to see a matrix showing the new benefits for the Fellowship and membership on our website - watch this space for an update.
All our new benefits will all be automatically available to you. The new ticket discount will apply to Festival of Speed and Revival tickets when they go on sale later in the autumn, and we will reveal details of the 2023 programme of GRRC events early in the new year.
On event benefits such as new enclosures will be accessed with your Fellowship badge - each badge holder can bring one guest (children aged 12 and under do not count towards this guest total).
This larger price increase for 2023 reflects a major change in benefits and we do not anticipate this taking place every year. We cannot predict what future membership and Fellowship annual subscription prices will be, however for the past few years, the annual price increase has been minimal to take into account increases in postal charges, package and event facilities costs.
Don't forget that your annual Fellowship subscriptions will be deducted from your membership joining fee, if you accept the invitation to full membership.
Goodwood Road and Racing continues to produce motorsport content – reviews, documentaries, interviews, articles and event coverage – of the very highest quality and the GRRC has full access to everything. If you are opted in to hear from us, you’ll receive a curated selection of their new content each week in the Friday motorsport newsletter.
We recently surveyed everyone in the GRRC to ask about the benefits that you value, and which new/additional benefits you might like to see.
The changes put in place are in direct response with what you told us you wanted.
We also note all feedback about our events via the post event surveys, issues reported on event to the GRRC teams or after the events to the ticket office, to help continue to improve the GRRC. We encourage the GRRC community to email us directly with any feedback at fellowship@goodwood.com.
Full membership brings many added benefits that are not available to the Fellowship, including complimentary Thursday Festival of Speed tickets, member-only enclosures at both Festival of Speed and Revival, an expanded, year-round calendar of events, unlimited access to The Kennels, Revival Paddock passes and much more.
However you might feel that the Fellowship meets your needs. There is no obligation to upgrade or join the waiting list to upgrade! You will soon be able to see a matrix showing the different benefits for the Fellowship and membership at Goodwood.com/join.
We will have some regional events that may enable you to participate and meet the GRRC community and when you are invited to upgrade to full membership, there are even more regional events. You’ll also receive our digital and printed newsletters to keep you up-to-date with all the motorsport and Goodwood news, and we have a code which allows you to make use of your discount in the Goodwood shop when ordering online.
When you are able to attend our flagship events, you’ll be able to take advantage of our new, on-event benefits for the Fellowship.
That’s fine! The other benefits are there to allow you to make the most of being part of the GRRC community. However there is no obligation to participate, and the Fellowship subscriptions you pay will be deducted from your GRRC Membership joining fee when you are invited to join.
Retention in the full membership is still high, so we do not anticipate a reduction in the waiting time. We will update you each year as to when you might expect to be invited to full membership, but this can be hard to accurately predict.
