Please note that the Dog Walk is going ahead, despite cancellation of the Vee-Power Breakfast Club.
Join us from midday onwards on Sunday 1 March for a charity dog walk with a historic motorsport pedigree! We will also be holding a second walk after the final Breakfast Club of the year on Sunday 1 November.
We are inviting you to come along with your friends, family and as many dogs as you can beg or borrow to walk the Goodwood Motor Circuit track in aid of our estate charity, Canine Partners UK.
Enjoy entertainment, learn more about the work of our charity partner, visit the Motor Circuit Cafe and help us to raise money for Canine Partners.
New for March is our Canine Partners second hand bookshop, which will be open all afternoon, selling a range of books, as well as home-made cakes.
Our suggested donation is £10 per dog - all humans are free!
There will be free parking inside the Motor Circuit (with disabled parking available).
Any questions? Contact our friendly Motor Circuit team on 01243 755073 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
You may arrive from 12 midday until 3pm. The last walk around the circuit will set off at 2.30pm.
Yes, we ask that all dogs remain on leads at all times.
We will have a number of choices for humans:
- We will have various concession stands, serving hot drinks, snacks and food.
- The Motor Circuit and Aerodrome Cafes will be open for hot drinks, snacks and meals.
- You are welcome to bring your own food and drink of you would like to.
For our four-legged friends, there will be plenty of water stops around the circuit.
The Motor Circuit track is a circular route, 2.4 miles in length. You will have the option to walk the entire circuit, or to walk part of the way and then turn back if you prefer not to walk as far.
There is also a perimeter track which is slightly longer.
The Motor Circuit track itself is smooth tarmac. You may walk on the grass immediately to the inside of the track if you prefer, or you may choose to walk around the perimeter track which is an unmade pathway, and may be uneven and muddy in places.
General parking will be available in the field opposite the Motor Circuit entrance; marshalls will be on hand to show you where to park. If you have a blue disabled badge, please go to the main Motor Circuit entrance and our marshalls will show you where to park within the circuit.
We ask that you pick up after your dog, please: dog poo bins will be located around the circuit.
We will go ahead, whatever the weather (unless advised that it is unsafe to do so, in which case we will post messages on this page and on social media).
The Motor Circuit and the track are both level and flat, and suitable for wheelchairs. The perimter track is not suitable for wheelchairs.
