Style and grace
The fabulous style of the 1940s - 60s is not one that we can often emulate, but the Revival is a place where this era of fashion is not just the norm - it is celebrated and cherished.
Join in and transport yourself back in time for a day - read on for some tips to begin your sartorial preparation.
Officers and gentlemen
The 1940s, against the backdrop of the Second World War, heralded an era of debonair style for the gentlemen of yesteryear and offers myriad dressing-up options for the Revival.
Dapper officers’ uniforms, baggy suits complete with braces, country tweeds accompanied by a trilby – moustache optional. If that does not appeal, the driver/mechanic look remains a favourite.

Ageless beauty
It might be the pencil skirt and tucked jacket, topped by a stylish hat, that appeals or land girl dungarees rounded off with a 1940s headscarf. Flowing frocks are a perennial favourite too.
With a Best Dressed competition to aim for, the accessories have to be as correct as the outfits, down to the make-up and the buttons.
Betty's Salon
The ever-popular Betty’s Salon offers visitors to Revival the chance to complete their outfits with stunning hair and make-up styles from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, for the perfect Revival 'look'.
To add the finishing touches to your outfit to transport you back in time, you can reserve a hair and make-up appointment at the three Betty's Salons, situated around the event.
