We’re a very accessible, relaxed and informal club. There is no strict dress code for either course.

Whilst we do not have a strict dress code, we do request that all golfers conduct themselves appropriately and are considerate of their fellow golfers. Pace of play is monitored and all golfers are expected to keep up with the group in front, or let faster playing groups through.

Summer opening times:

First tee time is 07:30
The Downs Pro shop opening times: 07:15-18:30
The Academy opening times: 07:15-18:30, with self-service range balls available until 19:30

Winter opening times:
First tee time is 8:00
The Downs Pro Shop opening times: 07:45-17:00
The Academy opening times: 07:45-17:00

Everyone is welcome at Golf At Goodwood. To help those who are new to the game, we run a number of Get into Golf courses for complete beginners, including women only group sessions. Individual lessons are also available and all take place at The Academy. 

We prioritise member golf first and foremost with the only option for visitor’s being members guests, through one of our group golf packages or an experience. For membership enquires please contact golfmembership@goodwood.com

The Golf At Goodwood Academy is open to both Members and non-members and offers open and undercover Huxley driving range bays, a 6-hole Par 3 Course, putting and chipping greens, Trackman and a SAM putting studio - the perfect way to warm up before your round or to refine your game.

It costs £5 for 50 range balls at both The Academy and The Downs course practice areas.

Yes, we warmly welcome dogs on both golf courses. 

Parking at the Downs Course is available at The Kennels.

Parking at the Park Course is available at The Goodwood Hotel and The Goodwood Health Club. 

The ladies and gentleman’s changing rooms for The Park course is located at The Goodwood Health Club. The changing rooms for The Downs course is located at The Kennels, with complimentary towels at both venues. 

We offer a large range of equipment and merchandise here at Golf At Goodwood. At both our courses you can find all the accessories you will need for your round from Footjoy, Callaway or G/Fore gloves to Golf At Goodwood logo’d ball markers, head covers and towels. An extensive range of both Titleist and Callaway golf balls are also available.

You can find the latest range of hardware at the Golf Academy including Callaway, PING, Titleist and TaylorMade which are all available for custom fitting. For Juniors we have Titlesist and US Kids clubs, bags and accessories. In addition, we also have golf bags by Callaway and Sun Mountain

At The Kennels shop you will find a range of luxury items from Golf and The Kennels. We stock men’s and women’s Golf At Goodwood clothing including waterproof and wind jackets, sweaters, vests and polo shirts. You will also find a collection of homeware and canine products, including mugs, napkins and aprons. We also have plenty of products to please your four legged friend.

Top of the range Callaway hire sets are available at both courses, as well as both pull and electric trolleys. These are limited so please call to book prior to arrival.

Yes, we can offer a range of custom fit options to cater for golfers of all sizes and abilities at the Golf At Goodwood Academy. We are also able to custom fit for putters using our SAM putting studio.
