Hello, my name’s Bonnie. I’m a two-year-old black Labrador from West Sussex and I can’t wait to be back at Goodwoof this year – my favourite weekend of the year.
Why? Apart from all the sights, smells and other dogs to play with, I absolutely love splashing in Fido’s Lido, trying to beat my personal best at the 50m Dash, flopping down for a stylish picnic under a Fortnum & Mason umbrella, learning a ton of new tricks in the Have-a-Go area, stepping down the Woodland Walk and discovering a new way to communicate with my family through the fabulous animal communicators.
I can’t wait to take my place on the Ministry of Hound dancefloor with Curtis Pritchard, walk over to Literary Corner listening to famous voices like Clare Balding retelling tales of fellow dogs’ endeavours, browse around the enticing shops and spend a quiet hour beside the MARS Wellness Stage as my family find out how best to look after my nutrition, my wellbeing and my behaviour! I might even persuade my owner to enter us into the stylish Chien Charmant competition, judged by Darcy Bussell, which celebrates our bond and swagger.
And, this year, I’m especially excited to join hundreds of my fellow Labradors as we open the event each morning. Labradors of all sizes and colours will gather at Goodwood House with The Duke of Richmond before we file off together towards the event. It’s all so much fun. You have to be there.
Nudge your owner to secure their tickets at the early bird rate, saving over 15% before Sunday 5 May. Fellow dogs and children under 12 go free and all activities are included in the entry price.
