Style, individuality and charisma. The three traits our team of judges will be looking out for at this year’s much-anticipated Goodwoof Chien Charmant competition.
Following the howling success at last year’s Goodwoof presented by Mars Petcare, the canine fashion show is back and will be taking place both days – Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May 2024.
So, what is the Goodwoof Chien Charmant competition?
Our eagle-eyed panel of judges will be looking for the best dressed, most stylish dogs across the weekend in the following three categories: Spirit of Goodwoof; Union and Swagger. The Spirit category is all about awarding dogs that exude wit and personality, while the four-legged friends who are considered for the Union prizes will be awarded for their amazing bond with you, their owner.
Finally, for the Swagger category, our judges will be on the lookout for dogs who effortlessly showcase personality, poise and presence while flawlessly pairing it with fabulous style and charisma.
How do I enter my dog into this year’s Chien Charmant?
Think your dog has what it takes to own the catwalk (or should we say, ‘dogwalk’), then you can register them here. Across the weekend, we’ll also have our on-the-ground Goodwoof Chien Charmant scouts who will be keeping their eyes peeled for worthy contestants so make sure you’re strutting your stuff at all times, naturally. If our scouts think you and your dog have what it takes to enter, you’ll be handed a ‘You’ve been Spotted’ card and asked to head to the Taittinger Tent where our judges will shortlist the furry finalists.
The Chien Charmant event
The event will take place in the afternoon on both days of the Goodwoof weekend in the Taittinger Tent where our Chien Charmant host will give entrants the chance to share their dog-wagging tales on why their pet is a worthy winner. And winners there will be… for each category, there’ll be first place and runner up. The prize-winning dogs will take home the coveted Chien Charmant award as well as a host of canine goodies. It’s a dog’s life, afterall…
Registration is open now. Simply click here to sign you and your hound up. We can’t wait to see you at this year’s Goodwoof!
