We all love the excited bustle at Goodwoof but know that it’s important for dogs – and people – to take a break from the crowd in order to recharge and restore the spirits. This year we have opened a whole new area designed to soothe the body and soul. Called the Zen Den, it brings together for the first time, all of our wonderful holistic, spiritual, and healing activities in one easy to find spot.
Goodwoof
Goodwoof 2026
It's all about the canine – and human – mind, body, and spirit within the colourful, yet calming Zen Den space. There you will be able to consult one of three tarot readers, take your dog for some crystal healing, find out how their star sign affects their behaviour and personality and sit down for a session with the pet psychic who can help unlock relationship blocks that you might be experiencing to make the bond with your dog even better. If forest bathing is your thing, the Zen Den will be its new base, along with the Quiet Zone and communal sound bathing sessions.
To help keep the vibe cool and jazzy, we’re introducing roving buskers to this new area – and beyond and finally, visitors will also find our popular tattoo parlour in the Zen Den area. Make sure to get yourself a temporary transfer tattoo as a souvenir of your wonderful day out with your dog!
Sally Page | Tarot Card
Sally Page specialises in unlocking communication barriers between dogs and their families. She said, “I have been drawn to animals from an early age and being able to communicate with them has provided me with many insights into their world. These messages have given comfort and positive affirmations to help their guardians. Our dogs provide us with so much love and adventure, that it gives me great pleasure to help through dog tarot readings at this year’s Goodwoof".
Sue Holland | Tarot Card
Sue has spent many years working closely with the spirit world. She believes that dogs have souls that we can tune into and connect with to explore the world through their eyes, and has had the joy of sharing her life with all breeds, from tiny Chihuahuas to big-hearted Dobermans. Bringing together her love for dogs and her spiritual practice feels like a very natural path. Sue is delighted to be part of Goodwoof, sharing tarot readings for the amazing dogs visiting the event.
Jayne Wallace | Tarot Card
Jayne Wallace is a globally recognised psychic and the founder of Psychic Sisters. From a young age, Jayne was aware of her extraordinary clairvoyant abilities and has spent her life honing her gift to offer profound, insightful readings. With over 30 years of experience, Jayne helps people across the world gain clarity, healing, and guidance through her intuitive counselling, tarot readings, and psychic expertise.
Yvette Hazelden | Crystal Healer
Yvette is our Goodwoof crystal healer and will also be a popular destination along the Woodland Walk. She says, “Crysal healing is a natural complementary therapy for animals. It’s non-invasive, completely natural and very gentle. At Goodwoof I will discuss any issues with owners about their dogs who either may currently have long-term conditions or are possibly just generally anxious. I won’t be carrying out full treatments so that I can see as many dogs as possible but will be able to recommend crystals that may help and advise owners on how to use them".
“Animals are very open to the energy from crystals, and I look forward to sitting with dogs to calm them after all the excitement they’ll be having at Goodwoof. I will run crystals over their backs and heads which has a calming effect. Crystal healing is not intended to replace veterinary treatment but is an additional method to support any dog’s health and wellbeing".
Helena Skoog | Forest Bathing
Helena Skoog is a Swedish Yoga Instructor and Forest Bathing Guide. She was born and raised in the forests of Sweden, and has lived quietly off-grid for 9 years in the ancient woodlands of Sussex.
At Goodwoof, visitors will have the chance to dip into this mindfulness practice by resting on the forest floor while Helena guides them through an awareness meditation to gain access to a sensory and immersive experience. This is a gentle time for owners and their dogs and an opportunity to deepen owners' observation and awareness of their dogs.
Alison Sheryll | Pet Psychic
Alison brings over decade of experience sharing psychic and pet readings on television and working internationally in animal rescue settings. As an intuitive psychic medium, she offers a compassionate approach that honours each unique voice. She connects deeply with pets through energy, whether in person or remotely, creating a bridge between hearts.
Maggie Innes | Astrology
Maggie learnt from and worked with astrology icon Mystic Meg for many years and now writes her own daily and weekly horoscope columns in national media. To Maggie, astrology helps us make sense of the world and our place in it - by asking questions rather than simply expecting answers. It can also provide unique insight into our pets (and their quirks!) plus help us decode owner/dog human/canine compatibility and how we can build on strengths and overcome any potential issues, to build the best bonds based on astrological characteristics.
Team Truffle Hunter
Stef Roulet of Little Wolf CS and Jules Clapham of Berkshire Dog Training form Team Truffle Hunter, a collaborative venture dedicated to raising the standards of truffle hunting in the UK. Stef works with two truffle hunting Alaskan Klee Kai, while Jules brings her experience with two truffle hunting collies and a springer spaniel.
Joining the team this year are Nicky with her Corgi, a seasoned hunter and truffle competition podium finisher, and Helen of K9 Scent and Tricks School in Chichester, with her truffle hunting cockapoo, and young Sheltie. Between them, the team demonstrates that truffle hunting is a sport open to any breed.
The practice offers numerous benefits: it strengthens the bond between dog and handler, supports biodiversity, and encourages responsible land use. However, it also comes with challenges, including seasonal unpredictability, the sensitivity of habitats, and the need for rigorous training. Through Team Truffle Hunter, they aim to share their knowledge, deliver high-quality training, and support truffle cultivators in developing ethical, effective practices.
Nikki Leader | Sound Healing
Nikki has over three decades of experience in the healing arts as a teacher and practitioner. Her sound baths combine the soothing tones of ancient singing bowls, modern instruments, and her voice to create deeply relaxing and restorative experiences. Guided by a strong intuitive and spiritual connection, Nikki weaves sound with subtle energy awareness, allowing each session to unfold as a unique journey for those present. She teaches spiritual develoment, and runs group events, retreats, and private sessions across Sussex and London for both corporate and private clients.
With every activity included in the price of your ticket – the Zen Den is a must visit at Goodwoof this year.
