Just beyond Goodwood House along the Hillclimb, the 2nd Dukes banqueting house was also known as "one of the finest rooms in England" (George Vertue 1747).






The dining room is host to an original painting from the Goodwood collection of the 6th Duke as a child.

Recently renovated back to its former glory by the current Duke of Richmond and Gordon, the Egyptian Dining Room is a lavish and impressive backdrop for any corporate event, such as an entertaining banquet or presentation. This grand room can hold up to 64 delegates for a dinner or reception, or can cater to up to 28 people for a boardroom style meeting.

Testament to the 19th-century fascination with ancient Egypt and decorative opulence. The room is richly detailed with gilded cartouches, sphinxes, birds and crocodiles.

The Yellow Drawing Room is a delightful and cheerful setting for any corporate meeting or event. It’s a versatile space full of natural light that we can tailor to your business needs. It can easily be transformed for a beautiful reception room for up to 150 people, or a boardroom meeting for 40 delegates.

The replica of the original Axminster carpet is so lavish that the President of Bulgaria came to visit it before its departure!

The Card Room is a small, circular space that perfectly suits very intimate dinners for up to 12 people or a small reception for 15. It’s a charming room beautifully lined with a Sèvres dinner service commissioned by the 3rd Duke of Richmond.

The Music Room is a small, intimate lounge space that can host up to 48 people and is perfect as a reception room. It has a beautiful hand-crafted fireplace and looks out to the rear of Goodwood House.

The Tapestry Drawing Room is a beautiful small space that can host up to 20 delegates, primarily used and suited for small presentations and gatherings. The walls are lined with ‘The Gobelins Tapestries’ originally commissioned by Louis XV and then gifted to the Duke of Richmond.
