The Goodwood Motor Circuit is a historic venue for both two and four-wheeled motorsport, close to the South Coast of England. Based on the Goodwood Estate, the two-and-a-half mile circuit completely encircles Chichester Goodwood Airport near Chichester, West Sussex.
The dress code is Santa! Get into the festive spirit by wearing a Santa suit or simply add a Santa hat and red jumper if you prefer. Aldingbourne Trust will be selling Santa suits on the day for £10 - we recommend to bring clips so the trousers don't get tangled in your bike chain.
The Aerodrome Café is open year-round, while the Motor Circuit Café runs April-October, serving hot and cold refreshments plus snacks.
The Horsebox opens seasonally, offering refreshments, toasties, and sweet treats - perfect for a bite while you're with us.
13-17-year-olds must be accompanied by a parent/guardian but do not need to be on track cycling. Under-12s must be accompanied on track with a paying parent/guardian.
Riders aged 13-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, though the guardian doesn’t need to cycle on the track. Children under 12 must be accompanied on the track by a paying parent or guardian.
It is very unusual for us to have to cancel cycling sessions due to weather. Should there be particularly adverse weather forecast (such as snow, ice, heavy rain) we will contact you ahead of the date and arrange for you to come on an alternative day. Please call 01243 755055 if in any doubt.
The track is open for cycling for the whole family on certain Sundays throughout the year from 10 am - 4 pm. The last entry onto the Circuit is 30 minutes prior to the session end time. There is no maximum time limit on how long you can cycle.
Family, friends and children are welcome to spectate. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Dogs are permitted but must be kept on a leash at all times.
The Aldingbourne Trust, Goodwood’s chosen Estate charity, will be joining us on the day to raise funds through bucket collections. The Trust supports adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to build confidence, independence and opportunity. The Santa Cycle captures this same spirit of community, bringing people together to make a positive difference.
