The work will take place from Monday 2 October and will last for three months. The work will take place during daylight hours on Monday-Friday. Weekend work may be required as the project progresses, but this will be kept to a minimum.

There will be some disruption, particularly noise disruption in the first two weeks as the scaffolding is erected, this will be closely managed. The disruption will not affect your overall visit to The Kennels, and we will be open throughout this time so please continue to visit us like you normally would.

The scaffolding will be going up at the front and back of the building.

Due to the scaffolding being erected between Monday 2- Friday 13 October, the restaurant will be closed for lunch on Thursday and Friday during this two-week period (5 & 6 October and 12 & 13 October).

The restaurant will be open as usual after the scaffolding has been erected on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings throughout the works.

The Library will be closed, but if you do wish to use it, please speak to the reception team, who will be able to help you.

No, all Christmas and New Year lunches and celebrations will take place as advertised. The works will cease from Thursday 21 December for Christmas and will re-start on Tuesday 2 January.

We will be open for meetings and events throughout, except for Monday 2 – Friday 20 October, when the scaffolding is going up, this is to minimise any noise interruptions that may affect you.

No, the car park will not be impacted by the work taking place. Any vehicles used as part of the works will not be using the main Kennels car park.

When the conservation roof works are nearing completion there will be some internal painting and decorating to be done. This should not impact you or your visit to The Kennels.
