We have 91 bedrooms at Goodwood Hotel, we will reserve a number of bedrooms depending on your chosen wedding venue for your guests to book on a preferred rate. All guest rooms will be booked as bed and breakfast. The wedding couple will receive a complimentary suite at Goodwood Hotel on the night of your wedding.
We do also have our Park Cottages, Peach Tree and Crab Apple, which sleep up to four guests in two bedrooms and The Pheasantry which sleeps up to six guests in three bedrooms. All cottages and The Pheasantry are self-catering properties.
Opposite The Kennels we have Hound Lodge, our luxury ten-bedroom retreat which is exclusively yours. You can stay here for two nights with breakfast included both mornings and dinner included the night before your wedding. You will be looked after during your time at Hound Lodge with your own butler and chef.

Yes, you would need to book your registrar separately to booking your wedding here at Goodwood and to make sure they are available to conduct your civil ceremony. You will need to contact the West Sussex Registrar Office, their contact number is 01243 642 122.

Depending on the venue does vary the time when the party will have to finish. At Goodwood House we do advise that the party finishes at Midnight, your party can be extended to 1am but this would be at an additional cost and would need approval from the Duke himself.
At The Kennels, we advise the party to finish at 11pm, but if you are wanting to extend to Midnight, this would need to be approved by The Kennels.
Lastly, at Goodwood Hotel all music would need to be finished by Midnight, you are able to extend the bar until 1am but this would come at an additional cost.

Yes, you are more than welcome to have confetti across our three venues, Goodwood House, The Kennels and Goodwood House. We do ask if the confetti could be biodegradable and neutral colours.

Yes, all of our venues have access for wheelchairs into all function spaces. We do also have dedicated disabled parking near to the entrance of the venues.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer fireworks at any of our venues due to the surrounding area and the farms that we have nearby to our venues.
At Goodwood House we do have an optional extra called ‘Driveway Rain’ which can be set off down the driveway when the couple leave for the evening back to their room. If this is something you are interested in having, please speak to your wedding planner.

Yes, you are more than welcome to have candles at our venues. We do ask for candles being used to either be non-drip or artificial candles. If possible, we ask for any candles down the aisle to be artificial.

The Kennels can be exclusive use for either the full day or just the evening if you are considering a ceremony offsite. Goodwood House is exclusive use for just you and your guests all day, until it is time for you to retire back to your room for the night.

Yes, you can have a legal civil ceremony at all three venues. At Goodwood Hotel we are licenced up to 120 guests including the couple, at Goodwood House up to 245 guests including the couple and The Kennels up to 32 guests including the couple.

You are more than welcome to have a cash bar and have guests pay for their own drinks during the drink’s reception and evening reception or you can pre-pay for a bar tab for guests to have a drink paid for and then after this would pay for their own or you can cover for all drinks for your guests.

We allow live bands and DJ at all three of our venues, please ask your wedding planner if there are any restrictions on noise for each of the venues.
At The Kennels, we are unable to offer a DJ or live band within the building and would have to be on the Putting Green for the evening reception, unless you hire The Kennels exclusively where you can have the DJ within the Drawing Room.

This varies at each of our venues. The Kennels was originally built to house the third Duke's hunting hounds and today it is Goodwood's private members' clubhouse. Here, your dog will be able to attend for the full duration and celebrate with you and all of your guests.
At The Goodwood Hotel and Goodwood House your dog will be able to witness your ceremony. After this your dog would need to head off for an early night with a dog sitter or trusted friend. Please note that we can recommend a supplier for this; discuss this with your wedding co-ordinator to confirm the arrangements.
At The Goodwood Hotel we have dog friendly bedrooms, allowing for your dog to stay on site; the cost would be £30 for them to stay with us.
Hound Lodge is also dog friendly and dogs are welcome to join you here during your stay. Again, you would need to arrange for a trusted friend or dog sitter to look after them while you dance the night away.

There is parking at all three of our venues which are free for guests to park. At Goodwood Hotel the car park is directly next to the hotel reception and has plenty of parking spaces for guests.
At The Kennels the car park is a short walk across the road, this is a gravel car park and has enough parking for guests.
Lastly, at Goodwood House there is a large car park to the right-hand side of the house where all guests and suppliers can park.
