With complimentary access, aspiring farmers young and old will meet our cows, pigs and sheep, hop on tractors for a ride and learn new skills at our farming activity stations. With delicious food cooking on barbecues throughout the day, this is a wonderful day out for the whole family.

Get up close to some of the estate’s most beloved residents, including lambs, sheep, piglets, pigs, calves and cows. Step inside our lambing and calving sheds to see the adorable young animals and stroll past our new robotic dairy to watch the cows being milked in action.
Experience the farm in action including sheepdog training, robotic dairy milking, milk processing and wool spinning. Discover behind-the-scenes action of the farm and meet the people who make it all happen.
Spend time in the fresh countryside air, following our woodland trail routes, hopping on a tractor ride across the farm and taking part in forest activities hosted at Goodwood Education Trust including wood cookie decorating and seed planting.
Delicious Goodwood organic food will be freshly prepared and ready to purchase off a barbecue on the back of a vintage land rover, ready to be enjoyed in our picnic area. Sample our award-winning Goodwood cheese and milk with complimentary tastings throughout the day.
Our Milk Vending Machine will be open and serving fresh farm milk with a selection of tempting flavours. Don’t forget to explore the Goodwood Farm Shop offering wholesome produce and seasonal treats for you to take home and remember your day.
Cast Iron Coffee Roasters will be serving freshly brewed coffee, while Lady P Cakes will present a tempting selection of homemade cakes, crafted using Goodwood flour.
Arrive at any time between 10:00 and 15:00 and explore the farm at your leisure. Highlights throughout the day include sheepdog displays, sheep shearing demonstrations and tractor rides.
Enter via the South entrance from Redvins Road to the farm, as shown on the event map. Please note that the New Barn Hill entrance will be closed for this event.

Complimentary parking is available in a field adjacent to the farm. On arrival, follow signs for the Goodwood Farm Shop and our friendly marshals who will be on hand to guide you. The access road is at ///sticky.weeded.grub. There will no access to the farm via New Barn Hill.
This is an on-foot walking experience, giving you the chance to wander through the farm at your own pace following our marked routes shown on the event map. Our friendly staff are on hand if you need any guidance along the way.
The walking routes include paved paths, uneven ground and grass, so we recommend wearing suitable footwear and long trousers to help protect against ticks in the grass.
There are handwashing facilities at the Education Centre, The Dairy and at the Lambing Barn. There is an accessible toilet at the Education Centre and the Lambing Barn. Please be aware that for health and safety reasons, pregnant women are advised not to enter the lambing barn.
The event is suitable for all the family. Parents/carers are responsible for their children at all times, knowing it is a working farm. The paths may be uneven so not always suitable for buggies. Please note there are no nappy changing facilities or disposal points on site.
Only Guide Dogs / Assistance Dogs are able to join us at Goodwood Open Farm. This is for the welfare of both the dogs and our farm livestock.
Fresh, Goodwood organic produce will be available to purchase from the barbecue, perfect for enjoying in the picnic area.
You are also welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in the designated picnic area.
Goodwood Education Trust is an independent charity connecting children and young people with nature, particularly those who are disadvantaged or vulnerable. On the day, there will be a variety of forest adventures and kids activities for the whole family to get involved in. Donations may be made at the time of ticket purchase or on the day at the Education Trust.
Our farm has a strong commitment to sustainability, therefore this event may be cancelled in the case of poor weather or prolonged wet conditions, to protect the land and soil structure. Should this be necessary, we will communicate this in advance of the event.
