The Kennels is now the central Clubhouse for all of the Estate's Sporting Members – be it horseracing, golf, motor sport, aviation or Health Club enthusiasts. However, if you’re not that keen on sport, we also offer Social Membership for those looking for somewhere to relax with superb food in stylish surroundings.
Welcome to The Kennels
Joining any of Goodwood’s sporting membership clubs gives you full access to The Kennels as your very own clubhouse. The Kennels, designed by James Wyatt and build in 1787 to house the Duke of Richmond’s prized hunting hounds, has also been home to Goodwood’s golf club since 1914.
Much of that Estate reared produce finds its way into the kitchens at The Kennels, allowing the chefs to produce sublimely memorable dishes with it. There are two ways to dine at The Kennels. We have a calm but family friendly main restaurant serving lunch and dinner as well as our bar with its cosy tables suitable for small groups.
The Kennels' 10th Anniversary
This year is a particularly special one for us here at The Kennels as we celebrate our 10th anniversary, and, in true Goodwood style we aren't celebrating with one moment, but a whole years worth.
From now until the end of the year each month will see us have a different event for you to help us celebrate the past 10 years.
One of our fabulous Member benefits is exclusive hire of The Kennels. With its impeccable service and delicious food, with specially created menus and canapes, and a space to suit all occasions, whether that be the light and airy music room or comfortable and cosy library. There is certainly something to make your event a memorable one.
