What is your role at Goodwood and what do you enjoy most about working at the Health Club?
Currently, I work across both our spa reception and treatment teams. As a Spa Receptionist, I greet guests arriving for treatments and help ensure their experience with us is of the highest standard from start to finish. I also work within the treatment rooms, delivering our bespoke Goodwood treatments, including massages, facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing. What I enjoy most about my role is the people. I love meeting new guests, building relationships and getting to know our regular members. Equally, I enjoy the calm and tranquillity of the treatment rooms, which create a space where both guests and myself can truly switch off and recharge.
What are you most excited for in your new role as Duty Manager?
I'm really looking forward to stepping outside of my comfort zone and taking on new experiences within a role I've not tried before. I am excited to learn more sides of our Health and Wellbeing hub, be able to get to our members more and to have a more member-facing-role where I can build relationships with our regular guests. I have a love for anything active and I am looking forward to being more involved in our different teams throughout the club.
What's a wellness habit you swear by?
I believe consistency is key, it separates a dream from a goal. With a goal you will set checkpoints that you can climb step by step to achieve, every step will allow the feeling of achievement, something you can share with friends and family and every step keeps you motivated. Even setting a small goal each day will allow you to stay consistent and achieve what you put your mind to. I also believe that any exercise has value. Working out, whether it be running, going to the gym, walking or anything that makes you happy is so incredible for personal wellbeing and keeping your brain happy. I personally love running as it allows me to switch off and see some incredible views in our gorgeous countryside and across the estate.
