After a fire in 1791 at Richmond House in Whitehall, London, James Wyatt added two great wings to showcase the saved collection at Goodwood. To give unity to the two new wings, Wyatt added copper-domed turrets framing each façade.

As we stage the fifth Goodwoof, we’ll shine a well-deserved spotlight on rescue dogs for our parade in 2026. These beloved hounds of all breeds, shapes and sizes will take centre stage in the annual parade led by the Duke of Richmond to open the event each morning.

All activities in the Have-a-go area are free of charge and there is no need to pre-book.
With even more to try with your dog at Goodwoof 2025, this popular area was the best place to teach your dog new tricks. Experts in activities such as flyball and hurdles were on hand to display the basics of each discipline to your dog so that you could carry on having fun at home.

DHL Presents
The Fastest Dog races opened throughout the weekend. With all dogs, big and small, participating in a 50m sprint and a live leader board.

Experience
Tarot card reading for dogs gave owners the exciting chance to help understand how their faithful friends are feeling, through the interpretation of different cards and crystal healing.
Barkitecture is Goodwoof's annual architectural exhibition and competition of cutting-edge kennel design, spearheaded by Kevin McCloud MBE and The Duke of Richmond, and features world-renowned architects and designers.


The Action Sports Arena boasted adrenaline-packed competition, including excitement from the Flyball teams, and welcomed back the ultimate dog disco - Ministry of Hound - for its return in 2025.

Once again, visitors were able to watch the world-class sheepdogs and gundogs at work from an important viewing platform. We had impressive demonstrations and trials given by our experts throughout the weekend.

The high speed CaniCross contest featured top teams of canine and human athletes competing cross country and also included CaniScoot and CaniBike disciplines.

MARS Petcare
Hosted by veterinary expert, Dr Scott Miller, The Wellness Stage presented by MARS Petcare became the place for novice and seasoned dog owners alike to learn new tricks when it comes to caring for our four-legged friends.

Randox Health Studio
The Randox Health Studio remained to be the oasis of calm at Goodwoof 2025. Owners and their dogs unwound together as they enjoyed free sessions in dog yoga (DOGA), sound bathing, and the bliss of dog massage.

Woodland Walk
This Japanese guided practice allowed visitors to experience the calm and quiet amongst the trees located in our Woodland Walk.

Cotswold
Cotswold Outdoor continued to be the go-to experts for making dog walks and adventures comfortable and safe. Visitors found a foot scan machine, a competition to win the ultimate walking bundle, knowledgeable store guides offering advice on outdoor kit, a footwear protection machine, kids’ colouring activities, an interactive lightweight camping section, and the chance to take a souvenir outdoorsy photo with their hound using the exciting wind machine.

Love My Human
New for 2025, a team of top groomers from Love My Human demonstrated their skills at the Grooming Parlour. In the Spruce & Tidy area, owners treated their dogs to a quick glow-up and received personalised, one-to-one advice from expert groomers.

Tesco
The Tesco stand remained to be a popular destination this Goodwoof. Visitors were given the chance to have their dog's photo taken and instantly printed onto a handy tote bag completely free of charge. The store also offered mini grooming sessions and showcased its wide range of pet essentials too - from accessories to treats and even a bar for pet parents to sample some delicious drinks and take a break.

The Goodwood Symphony Orchestra came together for two special performances over the weekend, to celebrate a close friend of Goodwood. This wasn’t just any concert; it was a special experience where visitors sat back, and enjoyed the enchanting orchestral sounds in the company of wagging tails.

Jellycat
Beloved soft toy brand Jellycat spread joy at Goodwoof with their one-of-a-kind Jellycat Dog Hotel, where they unveiled an early-access new four-legged friend and exclusive merchandise only available to Goodwoof visitors during the weekend. Guests could also browse through a selection of characters from Jellycat’s range of dogs and puppies.

All aspects of dog ownership were explored over the weekend, with experts in health and nutrition, behaviourists, trainers and vets on hand.

New for 2025, the Art Café gave guests the chance to try their hand at learning a new craft with one of our talented artisans. Throughout the weekend, guests had a go at printing, illustration, painting and more, making a gift for your pooch.

Chien Charmant focused on celebrating distinctive style and the best thing on six legs, honouring the most fashionable and stylish dogs and their owners.
With competitions, live demonstrations, entertainment and plenty of chances to be part of the action, Goodwoof 2025 provided a full schedule of things to see and do over the weekend.


Dogs mean so much to their owners so I'm looking forward to seeing some fantastic designs to house them in style.
